Our own personal long term project…1982 Lotus Esprit S3 n/a with 65,557 miles finished in super rare factory Copper Fire Metallic.
Originally supplied by Lotus dealer Len Street London complete with Lotus heritage certificate showing only one Esprit S3 n/a made to this spec in 1982.After searching for nigh on 10 years for the right Esprit and missing out on a few examples along the way this car was bought from an Esprit enthusiast and just wants some tlc.So far 1000’s have been spent to inc powder coat wheels,Carbs rebuilt,Ignition system replaced,new SU electronic fuel pump,Stainless exhaust,new Lotus spec dampers and springs all round,gear linkages and poly bushes/trunions,ARB’s,brake master and clutch slave cylinder,steering rack and numerous other parts to many to list!
Very clean chassis underneath with none of the usual dents or corrosion to suspension arms etc.Retrimmed S2 seats along with retrimmed carpet set in Blenheim Claret.
Beautiful looking car and a real experience to drive!
