This stunning late model facelift Mercedes-Benz W124 E500 was originally supplied new to Mercedes Frankfurt,Germany in September 1994 and first registered in January 1995.The car then went out to Japan early on in its life as a personal import via a wealthy businessman before finally returning to Europe via us in Febuary 2016.

The 500E was created in close co-operation with Porsche; each & every 500E was hand-built by Porsche, being transported back and forth between the Mercedes plant and Porsche's Rossle-Bau plant in Zuffenhausen, Germany during assembly.Each car took a full 18 days to complete. Called "500E" from 1991 through model year 1993, for model year 1994 it was face-lifted along with the rest of the range and renamed to "E500".

Finished in striking silver metallic,a great traditional Mercedes-Benz colour this E500 looks stunning from all angles and those in the know always stop to ask questions..Alloy wheels are desirable  & genuine Evo2 items in perfect unmarked condition all round with matching high performance Bridgestone 245/45 ZR17 tyres fitted all round.

Engine bay presents very well and is  super clean,further evidence of a past caring owner,intake pipes are are in excellent condition free from heat damage,a good sign this engine has not been running to hot as some 500E/E500’s can do..The all important engine wiring loom has been renewed as a preventative maintenance measure by the previous owner with the date code on the label.There are service labels on the car and engine oil upon arrival to the UK was a golden honey colour,an excellent sign of careful maintaince.The engine on this example is super smooth,the four speed autobox shifts smoothly and precisely,no transmission shunt and kicks down properly and drives straight and true,just how a really good E500 should do,a pleasure to drive.

Its original fastidious German owner spent a huge amount of money upgrading  the front shock absorbers and rear SLS self-levelling shock absorbers to E60 6.0L AMG W124 units,this is a very rare and desirable upgrade for an E500 with adjusted valving  giving better body control over the stock units,we’ve never seen this before as the parts for this conversion are very expensive!! Part number decals on the fronts are (HWA 124 320 1530) and the rears are (HWA 124 320 0313) confirming these are genuine W124 E60 6.0L AMG items.

Interior of this example is fantastic,the leather throughout is in superb condition,confirming this is a genuine low mileage car,it’s clearly evident this example has been kept out of direct sunlight and garaged by it’s previous owner,the rear seats look like they’ve never been sat in,one of the best condition E500 interiors we’ve seen! patina on the dashboard is excellent and this has been a non-smoker car,wood on this example is fantastic with no cracking and a deep shine.Headlining is in umarked condition free from dirt or sagging.Steering wheel is a lovely matching leather/wood item in fantastic near new condition featuring the adjustable reach option(441) not all E500’s have this.The interior of this example is a very nice place to be!

Having spent most of it’s life being driven on Japan's beautifully kept salt free roads & being owned by a mature driver (non-smoker) & garaged when not in use condition is as perfect as can be.

Since arriving to the UK in Febuary 2016 this E500 has received our usual extensive service program to ensure the car runs perfectly for the new owner,belts fluids inc diff,autobox,engine oil+filter have been renewed with high quality Castrol/Mobil fluids and genuine Mercedes parts,Airfilters/pollen filters.Bosch spark plugs,distributor caps+rotors having all been renewed as part of our thorough and extensive service preparation. A new genuine Mercedes drivebelt has also been fitted.In addition a 160 MPH speedo face has been fitted to ensure the new owner can safely enjoy the car on UK roads.

This beautiful high grade (4B) silver W124 E500 is the only example we have in stock in the UK and currently being kept in dehumidified storage.Late low mileage facelift E500’s are becoming increasingly sort after by collectors all over the world and prices have increased strongly in Japan over the last 12 months  for the best examples.
